{music} Raymond Lam's new MVs

My favorite new MV of his. It's sort of plain, considering the fact that EEG is just filming Raymond walking around, eating, etc. but it's cute. He's just dancing around at inappropriate times, but it's Raymond, so nobody thinks it's weird. haha After watching this video, I've come to the conclusion that he acts too cute for his age (which is a good thing for fangirls, I guess haha). Well, I got my Raymond feels back after watching this MV.
EEG needs to find new filming places for their music videos. Having people dance in a warehouse is just weird, imo. Also, Raymond should fire his choreographer. Most of the dance moves made me cringe, LOL. I'm not fond of the weird all black armor suit he's wearing, plus he looks better in the tank and sweat pants haha. And I don't think the last shot of him walking to the camera was necessary, unless EEG wanted everyone to look at his crotch?
Again, another MV of him just dancing. In some hallway. EEG sure is spending some big money on his MVs... I like it when he sings in a deeper tone, though. hehe

{tvb} Sales Presentation Graphics

I was in a graphics making mood last night. :) I already put them up on tumblr, but I just wanted to share here too. hehe

I was going to make more, but the screencaps my player took of the other SPs did not look good. lol

{tvb} TVB 2012 Sales Presentations

Yay, thanks to KennethTaviaRuco @ Youtube for uploading some of the SP videos! (:
On Call 36 Hours II~ I can't wait to watch this, especially since I liked the first one a lot! Hopefully they don't ruin the storyline. :D
I've never actually finished A Great Way to Care, but since it seems like most of the old characters are gone, I don't have to watch the first one to watch this one, right? hehe
From the premise, it doesn't seem that this series will be filmed. I would like to see this, but it would be better if Sharon was replaced by Tavia. haha Still, I wouldn't mind this cast, because I really want Raymond and Ron to film another series together. I need my 2R.

All of the sales presentations can be viewed here at this link or here. Besides the three SP that I've posted up, the one that I'm looking forward to the most is the one with Bobby and Esther. She still looks so pretty and young after all these years, and I can't wait to watch this couple! The Ruco/Edwin/Linda drama doesn't look so bad either, and I am excited for Linda's 90's look, because she suits it so well. haha The other dramas look okay, but the worst one has to be the one with Kenneth and Raymond Wong. I was laughing when I was watching it. It doesn't seem like it will be filmed, though, which is a good thing.

{tvb} Highs and Lows Thoughts

Although so many people were praising Highs and Lows, I was not as interested in it as I was in TLSA. The premise was interesting, but I felt that it got boring after Happy Sir (Raymond Lam) and Ah Pat (Kate Tsui) slept together. The script spent too much time on romance, and I felt that more time should have been spent on the cases instead.
I get that Gordon (Michael Miu) and Happy Sir were supposed to be really good friends, but I it seemed that after the first few episodes, they didn't even seem to be that close or have many scenes together. In the hospital scene when Happy Sir punched Gordon two times, I could see their bond of friendship, and Gordon's funeral scene was also touching, but I would have believed their friendship more if there were more scenes of them together.
In the beginning, I shipped Happy Sir and Ah Pat together, but halfway through, I liked Happy Sir and Sandy (Ella Koon) together better. At first, I found Sandy annoying, but she was such a nice girl, and she liked Happy Sir so much. I get that Ah Pat went through a lot of shit, and her life in general was horrible, but it didn't give her a right to hurt Sandy's feelings. She got Happy Sir in trouble because she didn't want him to have someone like her in his life, but I just think that she was selfish. If she had let Happy Sir help her, she wouldn't have had to die or suffer so much. I also did not get how Happy Sir was so in love with her. They had little development in their relationship, but suddenly they sleep with each other and Happy Sir would shoot Gordon because he thought he killed Ah Pat?
I actually liked Gordon and Helen (Elaine Ng) together more than Happy Sir x Ah Pat/Sandy. I thought that this couple was cuter (not lookwise, but scenes), and I wanted them to have a happy ending. I was happy when it turned out Ivan (Geoffrey Wong) turned out evil, and that case was pretty interesting as well.
I felt sorry for Ah Tim (MC Jin) and Ah Chun a lot. For the whole series, I knew that Tim loved Ah Pat, because he did and sacrificed so much for her. Ah Chun was innocent, and it was cruel how Sam Kau and his thugs killed him. Basically, Poon Hok Lai (Ben Wong) deserved his exploding death, although he should have been sent to jail to suffer for the rest of his life instead.
Overall, the series was interesting, but I finished it just for the sake of finishing the series.

{other} rambling

So guys. I'm afraid I lost my TVB mood. As I'm typing this, I'm trying to watch King Maker, and it's not that interesting. But I'll try to continue until it gets good? haha
It's just that I'm having so many Kpop feels recently, especially since GD's new song 'That XX' was just released. *sigh* All the TVB feels I had because of Taro's birthday party is now gone. haha But here, have a cute picture of Raymond.

{update} New Header ft. Raymond Lam

New banner cause I got tired of the Ruco one. :) I just realized that this is my first banner with solely Raymond on it. And this is one of my faves. haha
His new album isn't all that bad. I wonder why the theme for Three Kingdoms wasn't on it though.

{tvb} TV Funny Ep 15

Also known as <玩轉三周1/2>.  Now, I've been watching it these past weeks, and none of the skits were that amazing (except the second skit in episode 6, that one was so funny). However, I was anticipating the TV City skit because of that fact that many of the TVB artistes would be in it. It was too bad that the parts in TV City weren't that long. D:

BUT. One good thing did happen. This.
Hehe. Now I want a series with Ron and Raymond Wong in it.
Well, I really liked Raymond Lam's part too, he was so cute. :) Too bad I couldn't find his cut of the episode. Well, there was one tiny part with 2R that I had to cap from Ron's cut though.
Blurry. But I don't care, its 2R.

More caps of Ron and Ray W.

{tvb} Three Kingdoms RPG Thoughts

Twenty-five episodes of pure, wholesome bromance goodness. That's pretty much what I'll remember from Three Kingdoms, honestly. That and how Lau Ka Ho hates the FungYi pairing.
Szema Shun and Chukot Leung are a pretty unique pairing. I think they make a better couple than Chukot Leung and his wife LOL. Their scenes are pure bromance, through and through. First, Szema Shun gets drunk at Chukot Leung's wedding (jealousy? haha) and when Chukot Leung thought Szema Shun died after he got shot by the arrow and fell off the cliff...man. Those tears immediately came. Later when his wife got really sick and they thought she was going to die, Chukot Leung wasn't that sad. And in episode 22 when they parted, it definitely looked more like lover separating than just friends.

And you can't talk about this series without mentioning Fan Gan and Szema Shun. When Fan Gan first appeared, I thought he was just going to be an extra, but I'm glad that I was wrong. Johnathan Cheung is perfect as Fan Gan, and his character is so loveable. Loyal, trusting, and a great friend, who wouldn't want to be his friend?? Kenneth and Johnathan are too cute together.

Anywho, the bromance scenes are a good thing (including those of Lau Bei, Kwan Yu, and Cheung Fei), but it makes me sad that Ron wasn't in it. I've been watching 2R MVs on Tudou lately, and my 2R feels are killing me. I would watch Szema Shun and Chukot Leung scenes (as well as Szema Shun and Song Yau) and be sad that Ron wasn't playing Szema Shun instead. I mean, Kenneth did a good job and he fits the character, but I can't help but think that Ron would have been a better fit. Of course, Lau Ka Ho had to have a MOL reunion (but the pairings are wrong T_T).

Ending Spoilers (because I have to talk about the ending): Stupid stupid Lau Ka Ho and his sad endings. Of course, this was finished before WI, so he had to add salt to the wound by killing Hui Sir after killing Szema Shun in TKRPG. :( First, he doesn't even give the audience a summary of what happens to Chukot Leung and everyone else and just focuses on Szema Shun in the present/future. Those people have lives too, you know. I want closure! And now the ending. Song Yau somehow comes through the blue light thirty years later right after Szema Shun dies. And she still looks young. wth. I'd like to think that she didn't really go to the future and it was all Szema Shun thinking while he was dying. And that Song Yau marries Fan Gan (eh not really possible considering Fan Gan wouldn't be with his good brother's girl) because he's a good guy. Also, I'm still pissed Song Yau is such a boring character.

{other} What's New?

So...another month has gone by without me updating. haha I haven't been in the mood to catch up on any HK star's news, so I'm not motivated to do any new artworks.Only one of Raymond, for his new series "Highs and Lows" (aka Thunderous Drug Raid). And this one sucks. LOL

I finally finished watching Bottled Passion though. :D It was good, like everyone said it was, but honestly, the last episode kind of pissed me off. haha Along with everyone else, I was 'wtf' when Tung Pun Sin was crawling around town with a knife in his stomach. He's so clever and smart, yet what he did was basically suicide. >.< I was also pretty annoyed with Tsu Sum started hitting Law Yat and called him a bad person for making her go look at all the blood splatters. You're not the only one that loves him. I I'm more of a Tung Pun Sin and Law Yat shipper than a Tung Pun Sin and Tsu Sum shipper. hahaha Loved their bromance.
Now I started both Hippocratic Crush and Gloves Come Off. Hopefully I'll finish Hippocratic soon.

{new} Ruco Header

Yeah, so I changed my header to a Ruco one cause I was getting tired of the Twins one (even if I barely go on...) hehe.
I'm nearing the end of my spring break. :( I was going to watch some TVB series, but I ended up watching How I Met Your Mother instead. haha But I had time today to do 3 graphics. *sigh* No motivation these days, plus I'm rusty. So they look pretty bad. And more fit for tumblr. haha
